We made a reservation to try the Friday Night Prime Rib Night everyone kept telling us about. WE LOVE PRIME RIB. And this definitely hit the nail on the head. As usual, especially in a small town, we were greeted warmly. We then ordered our drinks and waited for our dinner. Presentation was wonderful. Lots of color on the plate. HUGE Yorkshire pudding. Prime Rib cooked perfect. Vegetables were crisp but not hard.. which we like. We didn't have room for desert but dessert are made in house so don't make my mistake and leave a little room. All in all it was a wonderful meal in a great environment. If you haven't tried The Rock Eatery... make your reservation (this restaurant is usually busy) and check it out. You won't regret it. **For anyone with Celiac disease there are many items on the menu that will accommodate you.

Was here the other night for the first time, and am pleased to say I had an amazing time. The service was awesome, water was always full and the owner who assisted us was very pleasant. Being a smaller restaurant it felt very nice, wasn't too loud and I loved the art that was hanging. For applied we had the mussels, which were so good. A very rare find for the interior, and then the main course. At our table we had the seafood special, duck, stuffed chicken and I had the Yorkshire pudding. Everyone I ate with loved their food and I can say that it was definitely some of the best I've ever had. You can tell the chef takes great care finding the proper ingredients and putting time and effort into creating these dishes. And then to top it off desert, we had the creme brulee plus pineapple and keylime cheesecake. Both incredible but the creme brulee really stood out to me. It was very thick and creamy, with an awesome crust. The keylime was rich and the combination of lime and pineapple was something enjoyed much more than I first thought I would. The food is most definitely worth the price they charge, coming in at less expensive than other upscale restaurants I've been too while being much more personal and delicious. It's family run, and you can tell there is a lot of love that's been put into The Rock Eatery. It's reservation only so if you want to go check it out for yourself make sure to book.

Absolutely outstanding. I’ve only a few times in my life left a restaurant saying “that is the BEST food I can remember having”. We went on a ‘date night’ for my wife’s birthday, and chose courses from the limited menu, and I STILL dream of the prime rib and the banana cream pie brûlée... The decor is cozy and chic with a touch of the elegant, just the right blend of fancy and casual to make anyone feel at home. The staff are phenomenal, the chef is a genius and the food is absolutely incredible. I literally can’t say enough good things about the Rock. Book way in advance! You won’t regret it. UPDATE: this is 100% our go-to restaurant for any and all special occasions in our lives, including those we make up just in order to be able to go here!! We recommend this spot to everyone we know (and even some we don’t)! Whether you are going to be passing through Falkland heading elsewhere, or you make the drive simply to visit this incredible place, you will not be disappointed.

Probably the best restaurant in the Shuswap. Amazing food and drinks, the energy and ambiance unseen around here and the service from the owner herself was so special and personal and authentic. We enjoyed ourselves so much and we can’t wait to come back after their winter break.
